We are fundraising to change lives
Our Mission
The Servant Hand is committed to breaking the cycle of poverty for those who are extremely poor or disadvantaged. It is organized and operated for the purpose of providing food, shelter, access to education, and necessary items such as clothing to orphans, the homeless, and other disadvantaged communities.
How We Deliver
The Servant Hand carries out its mission through targeted programs addressing critical needs:
Support for Orphans: Collaborating with the Ombeni Centre Orphanage in DR Congo, the organization ensures children receive essentials such as shelter, food, and access to education. Programs sponsor tuition for various levels of schooling and contribute to daily living expenses.
Homelessness Assistance: Partnering with government initiatives in Montgomery County, Maryland, The Servant Hand helps break the cycle of poverty for individuals experiencing homelessness by providing resources and support.
Women’s Empowerment: Assisting women who have endured traumatic experiences, The Servant Hand helps secure housing, prepares them for employment opportunities, and supports their journey toward rebuilding dignified lives.
The Servant Hand’s work is driven by compassion, exemplifying a commitment to caring for the least among us in both local and global communities.
